Eli turns 1!

Our little baby Eli turned one on March 1st! We just had a little get together with Jared's mom and sisters who came up from Utah for the weekend. I made Eli a Toothless the Night Fury cake (from how to train your dragon movie). The reason we chose Toothless was Eli is one years old without any teeth! So Jared and I nicknamed him Toothless plus we tease that he can be a real night fury sometimes:) Anyway we love our little Eli and can't imagine our lives with out him and his funny little personality. He is somewhat dramatic very determined and quite the tease (he taunts his three year old brother!) Here are a few things I want to remember about him being one...
- he gives sweet kisses
- he loves to cuddle
- he loves Horses and the sound he makes for them is this weird raspy breathing, which cracks us up!
- he follows Cash around everywhere
- he is a little daredevil (loves to have Jared throw him around)
- he is so sweet and folds his arms for prayers
- he loves to dance and sing
- and best of all his mom is still his most favorite person in the world :)

Holiday Catch up for 2011!

So I have been a terrible blogger, but I'm going to try to start being better :) I saw that I hadn't blogged since Cash's 3 year old birthday in September and since we just had Eli's birthday I thought that I should catch up :) So here are a few pictures from the 2 major holidays we missed Halloween and Christmas. Halloween was lots of fun it was Cash's first year of actually understanding the concept, so that was fun. And as you can see Cash was Spiderman and Eli was Woody. Christmas was a blast this year we went up to Washington for ten days and had so much fun with all the family and the boys really enjoyed all the kid time with all their cousins. My mom made all her grandsons super hero capes and masks along with a little super hero toy. which they all loved.
