For Family night this week we got our Christmas tree! I love Christmas trees and maybe I'm a little bias because I'm from Washington and it is very convenient to go to the local Christmas tree farm, but I have to have a real tree! I have to have the smell, the look , all of it :) Anyway here in Saint Anthony Idaho our options are limited on choice of tree. There is no looking and deciding what height you want how full you want it, ect , ect; but instead you go down the street to the local grocery store and leaned against the store outside are pinetrees all bundled up like shrubs and you pretty much just pay and grab whatever is left . So when we went I waited in the car with Cash and Jared comes back with a huge bundle in his arms and says " I chose the biggest one! :) " While not wanting to ruin his enthusiasm I smile and think "I hope fits our little apartment." Needless to say our Griswold family Christmas tree had about a third of it sawed off when we got home so it would fit, but thats not all, due to the below freezing temperatures when we took the twine holding it all together in hopes to reveal our gorgeous full tree nothing happened it was frozen in a tree tube. No worries though after some tender pulling of the branches and cranking up the heat are tree blossomed and was beautiful!! So despite all the work that goes into having a real tree even the vacuuming of never ending pine needles is is still soooooo worth it!!! :)
